Tanay Ceylon Black Tea 500g

Premium Loose Leaf Ceylon Tea

12X500g

Discover the rich, refreshing character of Tanay Ceylon Black Tea, a beautifully balanced loose leaf black tea inspired by the renowned tea-growing traditions of Sri Lanka.

Known around the world for producing exceptional black teas, Sri Lanka – historically known as Ceylon – offers ideal growing conditions across a variety of elevations and climates. This diversity gives Ceylon tea its distinctive combination of strength, freshness and lively flavour.

Tanay Ceylon Black Tea delivers a satisfying cup with a rich amber colour, brisk character and refreshing aroma, making it an excellent choice for everyday tea drinking.

Rich, Balanced & Refreshing

Carefully selected black tea leaves create a well-rounded infusion with a pleasant briskness and full-bodied taste. Its refreshing character makes it suitable for enjoying throughout the day – whether as an energising morning brew, an afternoon refreshment or a relaxing cup shared with family and friends.

The generous 500g pack is ideal for regular tea drinkers, families, workplaces, cafés and anyone who appreciates the traditional experience of brewing loose leaf tea.

Enjoy It Your Way

One of the great qualities of Ceylon black tea is its versatility.

Enjoy Tanay Ceylon Black Tea traditionally brewed for a strong and satisfying cup, add a splash of milk for a smoother and more rounded flavour, or serve with a slice of fresh lemon to complement its naturally bright character.

It can also be prepared as a refreshing iced tea. Simply brew a stronger infusion, allow it to cool and serve over ice with lemon and sugar or your preferred sweetener.

How to Brew

For the best flavour:

1. Use approximately 1 teaspoon of loose tea per cup.
2. Add freshly boiled water.
3. Allow to brew for approximately 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.
4. Strain and serve.
5. Enjoy black, with milk, with lemon or sweetened to taste.

For a traditional stronger brew, simply increase the amount of tea or extend the brewing time according to preference.
